Product Description

Description of Shadowless Lamp Handle Cover

A Shadowless Lamp Handle Cover (also called a Surgical Light Handle Cover, Operating Lamp Sterile Sleeve, or Light Handle Drape) is a single-use, sterile disposable cover designed to sheath the adjustment handles of surgical overhead lights (shadowless lamps). Its primary function is to maintain a sterile operating field by allowing non-sterile personnel (e.g., circulating nurses) to reposition the surgical light during a procedure without contaminating the sterile area or the surgeon's gloves.

Typically made from transparent, medical-grade plastic film (like polyethylene) or a non-woven fabric composite. It is strong, tear-resistant, and often anti-static.

Characteristics of Shadowless Lamp Handle Cover

1. Prevents cross-contamination between non-sterile surfaces and the sterile field, directly supporting SSI reduction goals;

2. Improves OR efficiency and safety;

3. The high-clarity, anti-fog material ensures an unobstructed visual field without compromising image quality;

4. Represents a low-cost insurance policy against costly SSIs and equipment repairs.
