Product Description
Silver alginate dressings are made of calcium alginate extracted through special processes and added with silver particles, with strong water absorption. After absorbing the exudate, it forms a gel-like covering on the wound, keeping it moist, facilitating wound healing, and preventing the dressing from adhering to the wound. Silver ions have strong inhibitory properties against bacteria and other microorganisms, reducing infection.
1. Antimicrobial properties, inhibiting bacterial growth in the dressing;
2. Contact with wound exudate results in gel formation, providing a moist environment essential for wound recovery;
3. Well-tolerated, biodegradable, and non-toxic, dressing removal is also easy;
4. Suitable for the treatment of partial to full-thickness wounds with moderate to heavy exudation;
5. For first aid to help treat minor scrapes, minor cuts, lacerations, abrasions, minor scalds and burns.

Partial to full-thickness wounds with moderate to heavy exudate, including: Trauma Pressure ulcers Diabetic ulcers Leg ulcers Graft and donor sites Postoperative surgical wounds | Do not use on patients known to be sensitive to silver. Not suitable for third degree burns. |
