Eye spears are small, absorbent, and disposable instruments used primarily in ophthalmic surgeries and procedures to absorb fluids from the eye. It is made of a refined PVA sponge with excellent moisture-wicking and liquid-holding capabilities. They are designed to delicately remove excess moisture, such as tears, blood, or saline, from the surgical site or surface of the eye without causing damage to the delicate tissues.
