Pulmonary function testing (PFT) filters provide a barrier against potential contaminants, such as bacteria and viruses, without interfering with the performance of PFT equipment. Electrostatically-charged hydrophobic fibers combined with the flat design of the filter help capture microorganisms and other rogue particles.
