Description of Intubation Stylet
The Intubation Stylet is used as an aid to facilitate the insertion of the Endotracheal Tube. Endotracheal Tube Stylet, made of malleable aluminum covered with a plastic sheath, is available in sizes 6, 10, and 14Fr. The ETT Introducer features a soft flexible tip that reduces the risk of patient trauma and a low-friction coating which makes it easy to withdraw from the endotracheal tube. ETT Intubation Stylets are sterile and for single-patient use.
Product Features of ETT Intubation Stylets
1. Made of malleable aluminum which allows the styles to be easily adapted to the desired shape.
2. Smooth PVC sleeve permits easy insertion and withdrawal.
3. Sheath extends beyond the tip to reduce the risk of trauma if the stylet extends beyond the tip of the tracheal tube.
4. Available in 3 sizes, suitable for pediatric to adult.
5. Disposable, single-patient use.
