Product Description
An endotracheal tube (ETT) is a temporary breathing device inserted into the patient's trachea. The ET tube is a flexible hollow plastic tube, usually made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It was passed into the trachea through the mouth (oral) or nose (nasal) to establish a patent airway and ensure adequate gaseous exchange or ventilation. The endotracheal tube can either be cuffed or uncuffed. Paediatrics tubes are usually uncuffed because their tracheal is easily damaged by pressure.
1. Made from non-toxic, non-irritant medical grade PVC.
2. Smooth and soft tip reduces tracheal trauma.
3. Kink-resistant design prevents kinking while softening at body temperature to conform to the patient's respiratory tract.
4. Murphy's eye design avoids respiratory obstruction.
5. Fitted with a 15 mm standard connector.
6. Radioopaque line throughout the tube for X-ray visualization.
7. Available variety of sizes and styles to suit patient needs.
8. Sterile individually packed.
