Product Description

Description of Underwater Seal Chest Drainage System

Disposable water-sealed chest drainage bottle (three-chamber) consists of an effusion chamber, water-sealed chamber, pressure regulating chamber, drainage tube, connecting tube, water-sealing tube, pressure regulating tube, muffler, anti-backflow device, release valve, Suspension device composition. Dust cover and tee connection are optional.

Thoracentesis is performed when the patient has a large pleural effusion or pneumothorax, but continuous closed pleural drainage is often given to avoid repeated punctures. The three-chamber drainage bottle increases the suction function, the anti-backflow system is more flexible and effective, and the product has better air permeability.

Introduction of Effusion Bottle + Water Sealing Bottle + Pressure Regulating Bottle

The first bottle is the effusion bottle (collection bottle), which is used to drain the pleural effusion. Placing the device 60cm below the thoracic cavity (for example, when the patient is in a semi-recumbent position, the water-sealed bottle is placed on the ground), can drain the pleural effusion, because the water flows to the lower part.

The second bottle is water-sealed, and the gas in the chest cavity must overcome the pressure of a 1-2cm water column to escape. The water-sealing tube is buried 1-2cm underwater because the gas in the thoracic cavity overcomes the pressure (the pressure of the surrounding water column on the end of the catheter) and escapes the water surface. Adding 1-2cm of the water column is to isolate the air and avoid causing an open pneumothorax.

The third bottle is pressure-regulating (negative pressure bottle). With the addition of a negative pressure suction device, it has a force to pull the gas in the chest cavity outward. This push and pull are more conducive to gas discharge and pneumothorax rupture. of healing.
