Product Description
A central venous catheter is a type of intravascular tube that is placed in a large vein and is a type of venous access. Inserted into the central venous system for infusion of medical fluids or blood sampling and intravascular catheters for pressure or other measurements, the central venous catheter is a device that directly establishes a therapeutic infusion channel in the superior and inferior vena cava. It is generally used to measure central venous pressure to assess circulatory physiological parameters. It can also be used to maintain blood pressure in surgery with large amounts of bleeding or in the emergency room.
1. The inner and outer walls of the tube are smooth, protecting the inner wall of the blood vessel, effectively preventing thrombosis and reducing the resistance of the tube;
2. The entire tube body is opaque to X-rays, which is convenient for positioning;
3. The lumen is evenly distributed to keep the flow rate unobstructed;
4. Luer connector-using international standards, suitable for all connecting equipment.
There are four types of central venous catheters: single-lumen, double-lumen, triple-lumen, and quadruple-lumen. The product is sterilization by ethylene oxide and single-use. You can choose the type that suits you according to your actual needs.
