This film sticks to the skin and isolates the surgical site from non-sterile positions that could increase the risk of a surgical site infection. The function is to protect the surgical area and form a barrier to the patient's skin flora to prevent cross-infection of the incision.
The double-bag Surgical Incision Drapes is a PE bag on both sides of of the surgical Incision , which is used to hold the fluid produced during the operation.
