Silicone Foley Catheter is used for routine drainage of the bladder. Silicone foley catheters are widely accepted because of better biocompatibility, and the indwelling period can be 30 days, which can reduce trauma to the urethra caused by repeated intubation. Clear silicone color makes it easy to visualization of clots, mucus, and urine flow through the catheter. The silicone material is completely free of latex and causes less tissue irritation and encrustation during extended periods of indwelling use. The blue radiopaque strip makes the catheter easily visible during scans. Available in various sizes.
