Description of PVC Nasopharyngeal Airway

 

The nasopharyngeal airway (also known as an NPA, nasal trumpet (because of its flared end), or nose hose) is a soft, anatomically designed airway adjunct that is inserted into the nasal passageway to provide airway patent. The Nasopharyngeal Airway is made from a soft PVC construction with a beveled tip for a comfortable & gentle insertion which minimizes the chances of complications.
