A Polyester Casting Splint is a kind of casting splint. It is composed of two layers of non-woven fabric and a middle layer.
The outer lining has good water absorption and air permeability. It is convenient for the splint to be fully and evenly activated by water, ensuring complete curing in a short time; The inner lining is a water-repellent and antibacterial base cloth. It can effectively inhibit bacteria and prevent infection of the patient's wound site; The middle layer is polyurethane-coated multi-layer polyester fiber cloth, which plays a fixed role.
Polyester Casting Splint is mainly used for external fixation of fractures or sprains in orthopedics, plastic surgery, and general surgery to make bone heal. It can be used for naked joint fixation, thigh fixation, forearm standard fixation, etc.

1. Keep the splint dry to prevent skin infection;
2. Do not trim, modify or remove your splint by yourself to prevent the injured part from worsening or causing new injuries;
3. Regularly check whether the splint is broken or loose to deal with it in time;
4. If numbness, pain, or burning increases and does not subside with the elevation of the injured area within 24 hours, contact your doctor for help.
