Latex Foley Catheter 3-way has three lumens & one lumens is used to drain the urine while the other is used to inflate the balloon. The third lumens allow for continuous bladder irrigation that helps in removing debris and blood clots. The catheter simultaneously allows fluid to run into and drain out of the bladder. It tends to be of a large size (16-24ch) to accommodate the passage of clots from the bladder.
