Description of Cryovial Rack

A cryovial rack is a laboratory device used to place or store multiple cryovials. The cryovial racks are mostly made of plastic and usually consist of a base, a panel, and several struts for connection and support. The upper panel has several cavities, into which the cryovials can be inserted upright; there are depressions on the base corresponding to the cavities to limit the movement of the bottom of the test tube, so that the cryovials can be placed neatly without overturning, and can be stored during storage. It is also safer when moving multiple cryovials. The cryovial racks are available in different sizes to accommodate a variety of different types of cryovials.
