What is Anaesthetic Reservoir Bag


Anaesthetic reservoir bag, usually composed of a breathing bag and connecting parts, is an elastic container for storing gas in the anesthesia breathing system of an anesthesia machine.Used to store fresh gas from the anesthesia machine during anesthesia.It is equivalent to a "reservoir" and can regulate the gas supply.

The Role of Anaesthetic Reservoir Bag


1. The anaesthetic reservoir bag can store a predetermined amount of anesthesia gas and oxygen, ensure that the patient's breathing is stable during the operation, and avoid the risk of surgery caused by unstable breathing.

2. Through the anesthesia reservoir, the anesthesiologist can adjust the respiratory rate, tidal volume, and oxygen concentration according to the needs of the patient, ensuring that the patient receives optimal respiratory support.

3. It also prevents pulmonary complications: the use of an anaesthetic reservoir bag reduces the risk of pulmonary complications during surgery, such as atelectasis, pneumonia, etc.

Generally, blue is made of latex, green is made of non-latex, transparent or white is silicone, and black is black antistatic rubber.

Instructions

1. By professional medical personnel operations, tear up along one edge of the bag openings bags, avoid to use scissors to cut packaging or blade edge tool, so as to avoid damage to the product.

2. After connecting the product to other accessories or machines, tighten all connections to ensure that the pipes are smooth and avoid air leakage and loosening.

3. During induction of anesthesia, oxygen was turned on and the flow of oxygen (approximately 5 to 6 liters per minute) was adjusted so that the airbag was semi-filled between compressions.

4. After each compression of the airbag, the airbag is relaxed and the outlet is released to discharge the exhaled air. Ensure that patients are closely monitored when using the product.
